Djate' originally from the island of Dominica in the West Indies, and his band from Boulder, Colorado have been rockin roots, reggae Worldwide! Along with his experienced band, Djate having played with the likes of Gregory Issacs, Mikey Dread, Izzy Stradlin, Leroy Sibbles and Max Romeo. Djate has opened for various acts including: Third World, Pato Banton and the Legendary Wailers. Not only a singer and bad ass guitar player but also an awesome song writer, he moved to the United States in 1977 and started the band "Roots Experience" Djates has also won "Best Male Vocalist" and "Best Cultural and Original Band" awards in Chicago and Houston. Along with his band of Extraordinary musicians Djate has been touring the United States to support his new album.
